Based on Luke 18:1-8

One day Jesus told his followers a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. “There was a judge in a certain city who didn’t respect God or care about people. But in his town there was a widow who had had a dispute with her enemy, and had been treated unjustly. She kept coming to the judge and asking, ‘Give me justice in this argument with my enemy.’ The judge ignored her for a while, but he finally said to himself, ‘I don’t care about God or people, but this woman is driving me crazy! I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out!’”

The Jesus said to his followers, “You shoulc learn a lessong from this unjust judge, because even he gave a just decision in the end. Don’t you think that if he can do that, God himself will give justice to his people who are crying out to him day and night? He won’t put them off–he’ll give them justice quickly! But in the meantime, believe that the King coming back to rule justly. When the King comes back, will he find people who believe in him?”
